AdvancED Expert Group Arrived at SHSID for Accreditation Engagement Review

Early on the morning of October 18th, eight experts from AdvancED Education arrived at SHSID’s campus, starting the three-day-visit for Accreditation Engagement Review.

At 8:30 in the morning, an ‘Improvement Journey Presentation’ was held in the Drama Center. At the beginning, Principal Feng, Head of both SHS and SHSID, warmly welcomed the eight experts, made some opening remarks and gave a presentation on leadership, learning, and the school’s resources. Other attendees of the conference were the High School Principal, Mr. Ma Feng, the Primary and Middle School Principal Mr. Liu Lian, and the two Assistant Principals Mr. Mark Seeley and Ms. Danielle Strohneyer. The report lasted for an hour, and afterwards, the AdvancED experts introduced themselves expressed their kindest expectations for the coming three days.

From the 18th to the 20th of October, the AdvancED experts will conduct interviews with all school stakeholders, observe classes and check the school’s written materials in all areas.
