Grade 12: Carnival and food fair

On October 12th, a carnival and food fair was held after the completion of the morning events. The carnival was composed of games set up by student-run clubs. Rules were set up for each activity with goals for the students to aim for. After accomplishing the goals of the games, students were able to collect stamps and exchange them for prizes from the ASB. The EcoCap and Roots & Shoots club built a booth with a table shuffleboard game, in which participants needed to slide a bottle cap in-between two tapes on a table. The Psyche club set up a stand which lent out pedometers. Students were gain three stamps with 200 steps. Other activities include a jump rope game, archery, and bottle-flipping. At the same time, a food fair was held. Students sold drinks, candies, and Japanese food. Some of the booths were organized by clubs, and some by parents. The final profits will be donated to Xinyu, a kindergarten for children diagnosed with autism.
