“DISCOVRY” Program in Middle School & High School English Departments

On Oct. 13th, all high school English teachers and Middle School teachers (Grades 7-8) gathered in Room 110, Xianmian Building to do a DISCOVERY program to find out what’s being taught in different grades and what could be further bridged to make the transition easier for students from Middle School to High School. After listing out all the group leaders in different grades, teachers were divided into two groups to make the discussion more group level based. Teachers go through essay requirements and unit content. This meeting is a beginning part for more exchange and collaboration between different grades.
