Puxi Grades 1-4: Do Sports in the Sunshine!

At the arrival of Autumn on October 10th, students from Grades 1 to 4 welcomed their Autumn Sports Meet with enthusiasm and energy. The tried their best at every sport in the warm sunshine, leaving behind lots of splendid memories on the playground. Let’s turn back the clock and memorize this joyful and unforgettable Sports Meet.

Opening Ceremony

To the tune of exciting music, students wearing sports meet t-shirts and carrying colorful pompoms, and walked onto the field in organized lines. After the wonderful speeches made by our little sport representative, Felix, and our director, Ms. Bao, the cheerleading dancers made a brilliant appearance. After their performance, the teachers also danced a lively number. Then, Principal Liu announced the beginning of the Sports Meet!

Teamwork

The primary students’ teamwork was amazing. The Grade 1 & 2“Egg Toss Relay” and Grade 3 & 4 “Water Relay” were held in the center of the field. All of the students gave an amazing performance and were cheered on by their friends. They not only demonstrated brilliant teamwork, but also wonderful sportsmanship.

Keep Doing Sports

The red lanes of the track showcased students’ running skills. Basketballs and ropes also helped them try their best in every sport. The sun beat down as the competition heated up. All the students put a great deal of effort into the Sports Meet and learned to be persistent. Hopefully they can apply this kind of spirit into their studies and daily life!

Family ActivitiesStopwatches recorded the precious time that children and their parents spent together at the Sports Meet. Parents lifted their children up by the ankles and took part in wheelbarrow races. Working together with their parents made students more confident. Working together with their children and participating in school life brought happy memories to the parents. The Autumn Sports Meet was brought to a successful conclusion, leaving behind joyful moments which will stay in our hearts forever. Sports not only bring health to our children, but also bring them optimism and persistence!
