Pudong Grade 5: No Homework! Do Sports!

Have you ever imagined that one day after school, there was no homework at all, and all you had to do was some sports? No kidding! It happens today. On the very first day after an eight-day long vacation, before anyone could recover from their post-holiday blues, the students were given no homework from any of their subjects. Not Math, not English, not Science, and not even Chinese! The news sounded so good that the students remained mouth-opened for a long while. They could not believe it! However, it was certainly true. With the advent of sports week, the students were pardoned from one day of homework in order to encourage them to do sports and enjoy the fun of exercising. “It is amazing! I love Sports Week!” one student exclaimed after hearing the news.
