Puxi Grade 1：Creative Chinese Posters by First Graders

Before The National Day Holiday, the first grade Native Level Chinese teachers gave out very interesting and creative poster assignments. The students were required to cut out as many as Chinese characters as they could find. They could get them from advertisements, leaflets, books and magazines. Then they had to paste these Chinese characters onto some poster paper.

After the October holiday, every first grader handed in his or her poster work. Some students did a short presentation during Chinese Show & Tell class and Morning Read-aloud time on October 11th &12th. The teachers were very impressed by all these creative, well-designed and beautifully decorated posters. All the first graders were very proud of themselves for recognizing so many Chinese words already!
