Pudong Grade 5: I Got My First Badge!

On the second last day of September, the Grade 5 students of SHSID’s Pudong campus received their badge book for this new semester. This booklet was totally designed by and published by the students themselves. If they performed outstandingly, each month students would be granted various badges which represent the corresponding ‘core value’ of each month. The students could not help being excited while receiving their badge book as well as the delicate badges that they had all designed themselves. By providing students with the opportunity to regulate their own behavior in school, we hope that our students will be able to take more initiative in their personal life and understand the merits of things like integrity, being honest, etc.
