Grade 10： Assembly（3）

On the morning of September 27th, the students of Grade 10 gathered it the Xianmian building for their weekly assembly. Linda Zhang from class 10(2) talked about one of her greatest strengths: tennis. Tennis, one of the most popular sports in school, has massive numbers of fans in SHSID, but not all of them are as devoted and enthusiastic as Linda. She is not just one of the top high school tennis players in SHSID but also in Shanghai, in no small part thanks to her rigorous 6-hours-a-day training schedule.

Besides simply winning medals and honing her technique, Linda told us that she gained many other invaluable things from tennis such as friends, confidence, modesty and perseverance too. She ended her speech by showing off the big medals she had won alongside her sister, leading to many ‘wow’s from the crowd, filled with admiration. Thank you Linda, and good luck in your future tennis career!
