Grade 10:Summer Holiday Experience Sharing
Grade 10:Summer Holiday Experience Sharing
Hannah, Monica, and Kevin from 10(1) shared their summer holiday experiences in P&B class this September.
Hannah first talked about her vacation in Bali, and then she provided some tips. After the short trip, she attended the summer school of CTD and leant a lot about economics. She introduced a unique experience after that— teaching young kids how to dance. The founder of this summer program was a senior student from our school. The organizers did everything by themselves, for example: renting the dancing room, and recruiting kids.
Monica had a meaningful experience in Sri Lanka. She did volunteer work with her friend. Her mission was to help animals and she felt proud of it. Releasing little tortoises back to the sea was one of her daily routines there.
Kevin first visited his sister in Cleveland with his family. Then, instead of spending time in cities in China, he went to rural Anhui to teach local students English. He said that the students were eager to learn which made him feel pleased.
All of them had a meaningful summer full of love and care. We hope the story of their experiences inspired their classmates.
