8th Graders Teach 4th Grade Students World Famous Painting Appreciation

On September 25th, the World Famous Painting Service Learning Team went to the Primary School to give lessons to the fourth graders. During the past summer holiday, our team members attended 10 lectures and learned a lot about famous paintings with help from professional teachers.

One of them team described their experience:

“Because of the training we had during summer holiday, we didn't felt nervous when we walked into the classroom. Our team members talked decently, and when they asked a question, everybody raised their hands. When the lesson ended, everybody clapped and applauded. After the class, one team member, Vivian, said that the kids were so cute and clever, and she became more confident after this activity.”

“This service learning program enhances our speaking skills and improves our confidence. It also increases our understanding of art. I hope in the following weeks we will give more wonderful lessons!”
