Grade 10: Back-to-school Parents' Meeting

On the evening of September 22nd, the lights of the Xianmian Annex Building and Zhongxing Building lit up the campus. SHSID held a Course Day info-session for Grade 10 parents, to provide a thorough introduction of the High School curriculum.

During the info-session, the speakers included Mr. Feng Ma, the high school principal; Ms. Hao Jiang, the curriculum coordinator; Ms. Li Zhang, the college counselor; Mr Lawman, the PE teacher and Ms. Min Liu, the director of Grade 9 and 10. They explained the school mission, curriculum modules, diploma requirements, and how to prepare the students for higher education. Then, the parents were welcomed into the Zhongxing Building by their children’s subject teachers, who illustrated the content and aim of different courses and offered individual guidance to each family.

Both parents and students from Grade 10 benefited a lot from the Course Day. Hopefully all the students will now have a clearer picture of their future in SHSID.
