Grade 9：History Class Trade Show

The last two periods of September 25th were a double History period for Grade 9B. In Room 309 of the Zhongxing Building, Ms Amanda Hammack designed an awesome review activity –a trade show which centered “Ancient Civilizations” -for her 9S+ students to walk around the classroom and do a review Q&A in groups. She asked the students to finish their posters in advance and put them up on the classroom walls. The students were encouraged to ask questions based on the contents of a certain poster and turn to the other once they finished Q&A. They were also asked to fill out a chart of comparison between two different civilizations, comparing at least 6 different characteristics. It was a really fun and challenging activity.

In addition, Ms Amanda Hammack invited other teachers who were available during the 7th period to take a look at her students’ hard work and ask them questions, which really gave the students credits for their efforts and filled them with a greater desire to learn more about history.
