Puxi Grade 2: Plant Monsters

In Science class on September 21st, all of the second graders made their own “Plant Monster” with stems, seeds, fruits, and leaves which they had picked on campus.

After collecting all the plant parts they needed, they chose some of them and pasted them on a piece of colored paper to make a “plant monster”. The monsters that the students designed were all very unique and creative.

In Science class, all the second graders have learned all the different names and features of a plant. The goal of this activity was to encourage the students to observe more carefully the different parts of a plant. Every student has learned a lot about plants by making their “plant monster.”
