High School Math Open Class

On the morning of September 19th, an open class in the International Division High School’s Math Department was attended by many teachers. This Statistics class given by Ms. Gao Yue’er began with a detective game and demonstrated to students everything about linear regression, step by step. One of the highlights was the variety of teaching methods used. Ms. Gao made good use of the new electronic whiteboard system. From scatterplots to a TI simulator, to the projection of her students’ discussion results, all demonstrated an integration of teaching methods and resources. The High School will also organize a variety of other open classes in order to better engage students in the all-embracing learning experience.
