Grades 9-10：STEM competition and science research information session

On September 12th and 14th, SHSID 9th and 10th graders attended a lecture given by Ms. Xie, Mr. Liao and Ms. Yao about important STEM competitions.

Firstly, Ms. Xie introduced some Math, Physics and Science competitions, including Math Modeling, Physics Bowl, SHS Bowl and science fairs. Ms. Xie explained the importance of these competitions.

Then, Ms. Yao and Mr. Liao further introduced more activities and competitions about science such as FRC, ten80 and printing. Also, Ms. Yao introduced a helpful procedure for research, from planning to the final report.

This section provided much valuable information on competitions and helped a lot of students who were looking for references.
