The Chemistry Group: Group Leader Meeting

On the afternoon of the 14th of September, the group leaders of the Chemistry group had a discussion in the meeting room. The topics as follows were discussed.

During new semester, teachers will continue to use the Blackboard system to provide students with online quizzes, class materials and various other materials. Since the monthly tests for Grade 12 students are canceled for this semester, formative assessment of Grade 12 students including class participation, quiz grades and other standards were discussed. Talented students are to be encouraged to participate in Chemistry Competitions to further develop their potential. Creative ideas about the Mole Day were discussed. For teachers, the Chemistry group will provide them more training in lab skills and new technology through workshops. All the teachers are required to prepare fully for the PBL opening from this week.
