Puxi Grade 3: Starting from a little goal

In personal growth class of September 13, all the Grade 3 students wrote down their long term goals on paper. Their teachers categorized the goals into 3 parts: academic goals, behavioral goals and personal goals. The kids need to specialize the goals and make them practical. After one period of time, they will use different emojis to value how they put effort into their goals.

In academic goals, some kids wrote “finish homework and corrections well everyday”, “finish reading 2 English books per week”, or “listen carefully, participate actively” etc. In behavioral goals, some of them hope they can be “helpful”, some want to be more “respectful”, others set the goals of “no shouting in public places” or “having good lunch manners” and so on. The kids have many different kinds of personal goals. Doing a sport, playing an instrument or helping parents to do some housework become their specific goals.

Looking at their earnest expressions and their little goals, teachers believe that they will put the goals into practice and draw smiley faces on the goal charts at the end.
