Pudong Grade 5: ASB election

The annual ASB election has begun! This year’s ASB election took place on Thursday afternoon, September 14th. Grade 5 students from SHSID’s Pudong Campus have been preparing since the school year began. There are altogether 14 students in Grade 5 running for ASB this year— 28% of the entire population— who have all prepared amazing short movies to promote themselves. They have presented their personal talents, future promises if elected and their resolution in serving the Pudong Campus in their movies. One of the students said that it would be his last year at Pudong, therefore, he’d like to make every day count. Every participating student received a great round of applause after his/her movie. While students were immersed in such a lively environment, they were also reminded to vote unanimously, and to vote for the people instead of their fancy movies. What a valuable day and best wishes for all the candidates.
