Grade 9-10：ASB election

On September 13th, ninth and tenth graders from SHSID gathered in the auditorium to attend the ASB election.

This year, there were 23 candidates chosen from both grades to the final election. The election included two rounds, the first round was to present a two-minute speech and the second round was to gain support again from the voters in half a minute.

In the first round, candidates used all kinds of unique ways to attract their audiences. They presented ideas and promised to plan better activities for the school. Also, many of them were so humorous that the audience cheered, applauded and laughed a lot.

In the second round, the candidates performed incredibly well in a limited time. They showed their talents and also told jokes to make people laugh.

Every student watching the election had an opportunity to vote for 13 candidates they liked.

We could feel the strong responsibility of SHSID students after the ASB election. It was very great to know that there were so many students willing to devote themselves to the school community.

Finally, special thanks to the hosts and the SPDC dancers who brought us some amazing performances during the election.
