Grader 8: Students Volunteered at LiuHaiSu Museum

On September 10th, three students from the 8th grade of SHSID went to the LiuHaiSu museum to volunteer. Every Sunday afternoon, our service learning team members will go to the LiuHaiSu art museum and help out with various tasks, such as photography, gallery guides, art workshop assistants. Through these service activities, we are helping to spread knowledge of art and its importance throughout our community. We interact with different types of people, and become more responsible and enlightened while we are working. In many of the art workshops, it is often incredible to see projects come together and experience the entire process not only as an artist, but also someone who records these wonderful events and creates memories for all of us to cherish. Through this activity, our team members feel that if we help out our community and make contributions––however small––for the benefit of people around you, our life has a meaning, an ideal, and we can live with that purpose.
