Grade 12: Club Fair

On Wednesday 6th of September 2017, the club fair for G11-12 students took place in front of the Xianmian building. Club fairs take place at the start of each new school year. All student-organized clubs starting their activities for the year advertise themselves and recruit new members.

As always, a wide variety of clubs were present in front of the Xianmian building during the club fair. From clubs that teach you how to dance to clubs that volunteer to teach children in need of education, a great number of diverse clubs were waiting for new members to arrive. One of SHSID’s specialties is having such a variety of clubs with so many meaningful activities, spanning from arts and entertainment to education and services.

Some new and rather peculiar clubs could also be seen this year. There is the Trader Club that teaches students the basics of stock through interactive simulations. There is the Beatboxing Club aiming to teach students how to beatbox. Taking part in some clubs of interest may help students to have fun and release their academic stresses during their school year.
