Puxi Grade 3: Let’s be Superheroes!
Puxi Grade 3: Let’s be Superheroes!
From Week 3 onward, the students of Grade 3 are going to show the entire school that they are Superheroes! ‘HEROES’ actually stands for six traits:H stands for Helpfulness, E for empathy and excellence, R for responsibility, O for optimism, and S for self-management. All of our third graders are expected to possess these six traits.
During Personal Growth class on September 6th and 7th, our teachers illustrated the new meaning of HEROES, and the third graders designed their own creative superheroes. Every class has selected one hero designed by the kids themselves to represent their class.
During the first month, our ‘heroes of helpfulness’ need to fulfill many requirements. The kids will not only help teachers, friends, and a first or second grader at school, but also their parents at home. When they are outside, they should be aware of ways to be helpful and conscientious, cleaning the environment around them by themselves. If they perform a ‘heroic’ act, they can sign their name on the board to record their route to becoming a superhero.
Clear goals and practical requirements make every kid clear about where to aim, so that they can quickly go into action! Let’s look forward to the super behavior of these superheroes!
