Pudong Grade 5: Key Value Badge Design

With the advent of this brand-new school year, all the students and teachers in SHSID Pudong campus have come up with 5 new ‘core values’, which are:

• ‘This Is It’

• ‘Failure Leads to Success’

• Commitment

• ‘Speak with Good Purpose’

• Integrity.

Our Grade 5 students were more than willing to take on the responsibility of designing these Core Value Badges, as well as the new Badge Book. They grouped themselves and enjoyed such a discussing how to create such a wonderful project. Several groups came up with brilliant ideas, which will be later be consolidated and polished by our art teacher. The students learned ways to negotiate interpersonally, deepened their understanding on the five core values, and expanded their horizon, all at the same time! What a meaningful day.
