Pudong Grade 3: Orientation Day

August 31st is the day that causes students to feel both excited and depressed. They are excited about meeting up with their friends, whom they haven’t seen for months; but on the other hand, they feel depressed because they must say goodbye to their fantastic summer. However, today all the students in PD G3 were absolutely thrilled and happy to start their new semester.

Today, the teachers became acquainted with the new 3rd graders by holding a parachute competition. In addition, students were asked to fill in a fun “questionnaire” about themselves to help their teachers learn more about them.

The most exciting part was when Mrs. Cherry introduced the “class currency system” to the students. They were so curious and looking forward to trying out this new system. At last, Mrs. Cherry took pictures of every student in order to assign every student a job. All the students asked about the new lesson, and shared their opinions. They just couldn’t wait to begin tomorrow!
