Puxi Grade 3: Story Moms

During Personal Growth class on June the 8th, our Story Moms brought the third graders a story called Badger’s Parting Gifts. Badger's friends were overwhelmed by their loss when he dies. By sharing their memories of his gifts, they learned to accept his death and find the strength to face the future with hope.

The kids were deeply impressed by the warm and sensitive illustrations reflecting the hopeful mood of this tale. They not only sensed the greatness of love and the pleasure of helping others out, but also gained a better understanding of death and parting. Let’s look forward to more entertaining and instructive stories from our story moms next semester!
