Grades 9-10：Biology Day-Birthday

On June 1st SHSID held a biology subject day, also known as Birth Day, at the Zhongxing Building. All the ninth and tenth graders participated actively and enjoyed the interesting activities. Seven biological activities organized by biology teachers and volunteers were lined up in front of the building, and every participant had to get seven flowers by taking part in all the events in order to get a prize.

This time, the prize was unique and also biology-related. The first ten students who completed the task would get 2 extra points on their biology term score. Others would get a turtle or grasshoppers. “This day was so great that it made me more interested in biology, and I’m so glad to have a better number on my term score,” said one of the early birds, Linda.

Overall, the Birth Day was a successful subject day that brought much laughter and fun. What’s more, students also learned lots of useful knowledge about biology. We are all looking forward to the next subject day.
