Grades 9-12: Hackathon

On the 28th of May, Leap Learner held a Hackathon in SHSID.

The program started at 9am. 20 students were divided into 3 groups according to their programming skills.

Firstly, the mentor introduced the Hackathon and gave out a schedule. Secondly, each group mentor discussed the task with the students. They would have to program an h5 game.

Over the next 3 hours of programming, the mentors were very happy to help with all problems the students encountered. Despite those problems, the students also learned a lot through the program. They not only understood more about JavaScript, but also learned through teambuilding and cooperation.

After the activity was finished, the three groups combined their completed games together to form a game with different levels that they could share with their friends.
