Let’s Go and Watch the Wild Ducks!

Among the events that took place on campus recently, The Wild Ducks is no doubt the most hotly sought after one.

On the Chinese Day on April 26th, one Act of the play has been put on, and this time it’s the full version. During the show from June 1st to June 3rd, the play was well-received. Many audience paid compliment to the play saying “the performance is very touching and is worth watching!” A lot of students were impressed by the students’ performance.

The posters, make-up, expressive performance and touching lines, all these contribute to a great play.

“Is this the goal you pursue?” “Why do we have to break away from this banality and make our life a scattered one?” The play poses many questions to us all. It’s a play based on Ibsen’s work, discussing life and humanity. The play is produced by Youshan Club, the only Chinese drama club of SHSID, supervised by Ms. Liu Xiao and a teacher from Shanghai Theatre Academy.
