Puxi Grade 3: Brazil Carnival

This May, Puxi’s third graders haveare learning about the history, culture and geography of Brazil.

So on May 16th, they had a special parade on campus. They wore Brazilian hats that they had made on their own, and carried small boxes filled with rice. The hats made them look like real Brazilian natives, and shaking the small box made the sound like the drum. In this way, the passionate third graders made SHSID seem like beautiful Brazilian landscape, drenched in summer sun!
