Physics Department: Science Experiment Club

Students of the Science Experiment club conducted an experiment on one of the basic mechanics of the human eye: the refraction of light through a focal point. Participants were able to build their own “eye” with the use of a magnifying glass, a candle, and a screen. The put it to the test and studied its workings.

The club aims to educate members about the laboratory process and about aspects of Chemistry and Physics in interesting and easy-to-do experiments. By cooperating with fellow team members in both stunning and educational experimentations, we can develop procedure-following abilities, team cooperation, and strengthen our scientific knowledge. That’s not all! We can handle lab equipment, marvel at the amazing effects of chemistry, or gaze in awe at the bizarre phenomenons of physics. Science Experiment Club is a very rewarding and extremely interesting activity that deserves participation and involvement.
