Grade 9：Fencing League

From May 5th to May 7th, Michael Zhang from 9(1) attended the 2017 China Fencing League at Tangshan Station. In the BU 16 Men's Saber category, through effort and perseverance, he progressed through eight rounds of matches and won third place. In the U16 Men's Saber group, facing multiple professional teams, he and his teammates displayed earnest efforts and courageous swordsmanship. Eventually, with a score of 45:44, his team defeated their opponents in the 2nd round. Later, they won the 4th place in the whole group. "Personally," Michael said, "fencing is a kind of sports that builds up one's personality, elevates physical health, promotes my agility, and trains my brain. " Hence, he hopes more and more students will enjoy this activity.
