Grade 9：Basketball Competition

In the past two weeks, the 9th graders of SHSID held basketball competitions during lunchtime. Each class formed a team of three, and it’s worth-mentioning that every team was ask to include one female player in their team. After two intense weeks of games, it came to an end on May 10th. After defense and attack, 9 (9) won the final with the score of 31:15, becoming the champion of the basketball competition this year. 9(7) won second place while 9 (6) won the third. Although the weather was hot, the enthusiasm in both players and the audience was pumped up. The players put in a great effort into the games, creating a growing crowd around the basketball court during lunchtime.

The game was not only a test of agility, flexibility, but also a test for tactical cooperation and team spirit. The outdoor court sounded with bursts of cheering. Lots of classmates formed new friendships during the competition. Let’s give a round of applause to the players and look forward to their next games!
