Grades 7-8: English Speech Competition

“English speech competition finally ended.” I believe that what the speakers thought. The topic this time is “TED talk”. Every speaker walked up the stage with confidence. There were a total of 14 speakers and they all tried their best.

But for the eighth graders, there was a new round, which is impromptu speech. Speakers will get the materials before the competition and they will have time to prepare. This didn’t freak them out, but this made them more confident and enjoy the times when giving out speeches.

During two periods, I believe everyone learned many things. Congratulations to all the speakers!
