First Graders Celebrated Mother’s Day

In the Personal Growth Class of May 8th, the first graders made something special for their mothers. Every student made a Mother’s Day Card called “Mother’s Umbrella”. Inside the card, they placed a pretty umbrella inside a cupcake wrapper. The students drew many other cute patterns such as hearts, clouds and flowers to decorate the card too. A mother’s love is just like a big umbrella on a rainy day. It protects and shelters us forever. All the students will hide their cards until the morning of May 14th, Mother’s Day. We hope the mothers will enjoy the cards as much as the children enjoyed making them!
