Biology Group meeting: Arrangement of bio STEM curriculum next year

On May 5th, SHSID’s Biology group discussed the “STEM” curriculum. Gu Yin, the leader, emphasized the importance of the Bio STEM curriculum. Biology projects can help students understand the world and explain the rules of nature. Students in Grade 9 & 10 will connect knowledge from textbooks and practice effectively through constant thought and exploration. In addition, these projects will serve as good preparation for the IB/AP curriculum in the coming years.

The Biology group planned the Grade 9 (standard) and Grade 10 (standard/ challenging) curriculums. They held brainstorming sessions and focused on various topics to design an interesting and instructive Bio STEM curriculum.
