Puxi Grade 4：Lighting Ceremony

After raising money to purchase Solmate lights at the charity fair, Grade Four students at SHSID got to make and assemble the lights at school. With the guidance of their teachers, they made the lights successfully on their own hands. The finished lights will be sent to Nepal to help poor kids to read and have a better life. The students even wrote letters to the Nepalese kids, to showed their care and love.

On Wednesday this week, the fourth graders gathered in the auditorium to attend the lighting ceremony. They lit the lamps one by one and derived great satisfaction from helping and knowing that they had made a difference- no matter how big or small- to another child’s life.
