A New Buddy Bench for Primary Students

A newly painted buddy bench was placed on the lawn in front of SHSID’s Primary School building recently. The beautiful yellow bench was covered with the colorful hand prints from many primary students.

The buddy bench is to remind all the students the importance of making friends. The teachers would like to encourage all the students to try to make friends. When a student sees a new student or a lonely student sitting on the bench sadly, he or she is encouraged to sit beside the lonely student and say hello with a big smile. That will be an excellent start for a friendship.
