2017 Exhibition of Sculptures of Teachers and Students

Art teaching does not only play an important role in the cultivation of the students' aesthetic and creative abilities, but also cultivates students' practical abilities. Among all the art forms, Ceramic art is particularly prominent in the training of students' practical ability. Ceramic art at SHSID, which consists of a combination of Chinese traditional culture and modern art, not only shows the vitality of an education in art, but also shows the how traditions in art have been passed down through the generations.

This exhibition includes both art teachers’ and students’ artworks. It fully demonstrates the imagination and practical abilities of our students. We hope that by reading this book more students can get to know our school's ceramic courses.
