Enjoying the “Fashion SHBG” Spring Music Festival

The “International Flower Exhibition” in Shanghai Botanical Garden had an opening ceremony on the afternoon of April 22nd , and SHSID’s students were invited to perform at it. The whole performance was brilliant, and the audience greatly enjoyed it.

The show started with a performance of Mozart’s “Serenade For Strings” from our school string ensemble; it was fast and lively. After the serenade, the school’s dance club brought us a vigorous dance called “Victory”. The music and unique dancing movements pleased the whole crowd. Then the saxophone group from our school wind ensemble performed a piece called “The Entertainer” which was very lively and humorous. Last but not least, our school musical club performed some wonderful parts from several Broadway classics. Their singing and dancing brought the whole performance to a climax.

The deputy secretary of SHS’s CPC committee and Director of Moral Education, Zehong Zhang, the principal of SHSID, Feng Ma, and the directors Qin Liu and Min Liu all came to watch the performance. After the performance, the dean of Shanghai Botanical Garden, Hong Wu, presented an “International Unique Volunteer Band “ flag to Shanghai High School. This performance had not only provided our students a wonderful platform to show off their talents, but also showed society what the students of Shanghai High School are like.
