Puxi Grade 1: Creating Minecraft Selfies With iPad

Recently the first graders have been learning about the perimeters of shapes in Math class. The Math teachers designed an interesting Minecraft Selfie art activity using the Youdoodle app on students’ iPads.

The aim of the activity was to revise the basic definition of ‘perimeter’. After the students finished with the picture, they needed to measure the perimeter of the whole face. The students had to be really careful and attentive to count it correctly.

All the students liked this creative iPad activity so much. They reviewed not only the perimeter but practiced counting with great attention and patience.
