Grade 8: Taking an “SHSID” Photo for Graduation

It’s the time of the year all students in 8th grade have been waiting for: graduation. In just two short months, we will have our diplomas in our hands, ready to face high school. We faced so many exams and mounds of homework to reach this milestone in life. We have almost accomplished the treacherous task of completing middle school.

To remember the fateful day of our graduation forever, we took a picture of the whole of 8th grade. Last time, we simply stood on bleachers to take a photo with our teachers, but this time it was special for students and way more exciting than bleachers. We used ourselves to spell the words SHSID. Nobody will forget the time they proudly arranged themselves in the letters of the school they were graduating from and waved, jumped, and smiled at the cameraman.

This will be a memory that will bring a smile to our face for the remainder of our school days and whatever lies beyond. One look at the photo we took together will remind us of how far we have come with SHSID and how our school gave us a better life through education.
