Model Entrepreneur Competition 2017 was held at SHSID

On April 22, SHSID hosted the Model Entrepreneur Competition 2017 in Xianmian Building. The competition was started last year in collaboration with Columbia Business School. More than 400 teams, 3-4 students in a team, from key high schools in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan , such as The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China，Shanghai Foreign Language School, Guangdong Experimental High School, Shenzhen Middle School, Hong Kong St.Paul's Co-Educational School, Taipei Kang Chiao International School, participated in the preliminary competition in late 2016. 32 teams made into the final competition on April 22. During the final competition, 32 teams showed a video pitch to introduce their business plan in the 1st round, and then they made presentations about their plan details to 15 professional judges in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. After a long day, finally 3 teams from SHSID were listed among the top 6 out of 32 teams. One team from the 11th grade got the 1st place, and another team with four 9th graders got the 3rd place and one more team with four 11th graders got the Merit Prize. Congratulations !
