Blackboard Training

On Friday April 14th, Dr. Stephen Pijanowski gave a quick introductory talk on Blackboard during a High School teachers’ meeting in the Xianmian Auditorium. Blackboard is an online service that SHSID has subscribed to, which offers a platform for teachers to digitally manage their classes. By making good use of Blackboard, teachers at SHSID will be able to make school-life significantly easier for themselves and for their students. Dr. Pijanowski showed the teachers how Blackboard can aid grading, group-work, and classroom communication, as well as stressing that Blackboard is a flexible system that will allow each teacher to customise settings to fit their own classes.
