Primary School: Lego Building Competition

10 teams of 1st and 2nd graders from SHSID’s Pudong campus went to the Pinghe Bilingual School on April 16th to join the Lego Building Competition. With the huge bags of Lego materials and well-prepared presentation posters, our students were so exited to start this long-anticipated contest. After the bell, our students started to build their dream cities and after 30 minutes, all kinds of cool future cities were there. In these cities, you could find solar powered cars, airplanes that can get to another place in a blink of an eye, hydroelectric elevators and mobile houses. Every one of these can give people a better life in the future. After the building time came the exciting presentation time. Our participants tried their best and explained everything, from the designs to the uses of them. From time to time, there was applause.

Though it was only a one-hour competition, our young engineers spent plenty of time and effort preparing for it. We are so sure that no matter what the results of this competition might be, it will be a great memory for all of our students.
