First Aid Training for Teachers in SHSID

On the afternoon of April 13th, many Chinese teachers in SHSID received First Aid training on campus. The main content of the training covered the most common injuries that happen to children such as asphyxia caused by the foreign matter in air passage, scalding, broken bones, drowning, and so on.

First of all, the trainers introduced the teachers to the first aid treatments necessary under different circumstances. Then the teachers were divided into two groups, one group as the wounded people and the other as the first aid group members. The first aid group members judged the situation first, then performed the relevant first aid processes, such as CPR, to practice what they had just learned from the lesson.

All the teachers believed that this first aid training may help them help more people, especially their students when an emergency happen.
