Puxi Grade 3: The Show of Chinese Historical Figures

Week 7 is Chinese Culture Week at SHSID. On Friday, March 31st, the Puxi third graders enjoyed a show about Chinese historical figures. Before Chinese Culture week, all the Native Chinese speakers of third grade chose their own favorite Chinese historical figure. They needed to dress up like that person and also use the Keynote or Comic Life apps on their iPads to make a small presentation about their chosen person. And most importantly: they had to behave like that person during the whole day!

On March 31st, all the Native Chinese speakers of third grade wore their costumes and began their special day. During recess time, they performed their best poses and stood by the beautiful campus flowers, while their teachers took some pictures of them. After that, they performed their presentation for their classmates. This was a great day for those little Chinese historical figures! And was also meaningful for third graders to learn more Chinese history during Chinese Culture Week.
