Grade 11: SHSID Donation to Roots and Shoots

On the afternoon of March 20th, Director Liu of the High School division represented the school in its donation to Roots and Shoots Shanghai. R&S Shanghai has been focused on improving our environment ever since its foundation. Through a variety of projects such as the Million Tree Project, the Yes Project, and the Kid Strong Project, the organization has made notable contributions to improving not only the environment but also the living conditions for many in need of charity. In the past semester, the High School’s Roots and Shoots club collected money through hosting various charity events. The money was finally donated to the organization when Roots and Shoots representative Chen Ting visited our campus and received the donation on behalf of the organization. Through the meeting with the Roots and Shoots representative, the school learned more information about the ongoing Million Tree Project and Organic Gardening project and talked about ways for further cooperation in the future.
