Pudong Grade 1: Science Experiment

We are learning about matter and how matter changes during this unit of Science!

To help students better understand matter and make learning fun, we conducted a few experiments in class! One experiment was to create gas by mixing baking soda and vinegar. Our students were excited and surprised to see such a reaction! Students also have to play with Oobleck– a substance that flows like a liquid but feels like a solid when you squeeze it.

We hope our first graders enjoyed getting their hands a little dirty and had fun learning about matter!
