Grade 9-10: Stuff Meeting

Quite often, teachers everywhere find themselves in a situation where not all of their students are motivated and excited in class. Students lacking motivation need help from their teachers to keep them motivated and excited to learn. Grade 9-10 organized a staff workshop recently to discuss such issues. All teachers gave their opinions about how to increase activity in their classes and stimulate their students with strategies like showing interesting videos during break-time to draw students’ attention, or do experiments when students are not focused enough, or invite the students to participate when they are not motivated. It was concluded that clearly defined objectives, leveraged competition, proper control over class, a reward system, and knowing students and tracking their’ progress may help students get more involved in class and learn more.
