Pudong Grade 5:Chinese Poetry Competition

When we talking traditional Chinese culture and literature, it’s Chinese poetry that first pops to mind. It is the diamond of Chinese culture and literature. In order to help our students to get a better understanding of Chinese poetry, students from G3 to G5 at Pudong campus held a Chinese Poetry Competition during the P&B class of March 28th. All the contestants from each class are masters of Chinese poetry and found nothing challenging; from the filling the blanks to the understanding of the poems, and the background information of the poems and poets. Applause was heard from time to time in the auditorium. Even though the competition only lasted one hour, our students definitely got a better understanding of Chinese poetry and culture from it!
